
Holes in Leaves - Visible Insects or Other Pests
Leaves have holes in them, and there are visible insects or other pests
on the plant.
This combination of symptoms may be caused by a number of problems. You
may either view the list of possible causes, or select from the list of
additional symptoms in order to narrow down your search.
Additional Symptoms
- Visible insects or other pests fit the following
description: They are dark gray beetles about 3/8 inch in length. They
feed at night. Its larvae are white with brown heads. These generally measure
about 1/2 inch length and have no legs. The larvae can be found burrowed
in the soil where they feed on the roots.
- Visible insects or other pests fit the following
description: They are insect larvae 1/4 to 2-1/2 inches in length.
Depending on their species, they may be hairy, but not necessarily. Their
color and pattern also depend on their species.

bodies with very long antennae, and they vary in color from light brown

guide for insects, the easiest way to identify them is to locate the small,
