Spots on Leaves
Leaves have spots on them.
Depending on the cause, leaves can develop spots of various colors and other characteristics. In addition, spots may develop on specific parts of the leaves but not others.
To begin narrowing down the cause, look at the descriptions below, and select the one that best describes the spots you are seeing.
Note: Leaf spots are part of the leaf tissue. These spots should be distinguished from those symptoms which describe a growth or some residue on the leaves. For instance:
